Nothing but a good time!

Today. I. Am. Strong. Today. I. Am. Able.
I totally love the praying mantis in the picture above I found this image as I was looking for blog material to make a direct correlation between celebrities and the bugs they look like. When I saw this little guy, he made me smile... look at him. He is standing in the middle of the street with his little arms lifted HIGH into the sky and he's smiling. Me too little buddy. Me toooooooo.

I really am in a better mood today than earlier this week. I actually feel like poopoo but my spirits are high and I am in a good mood. I've accomplished more today than usual, including some dreaded 'phone calls' from irate people. So, I just thought that I would share some of the things that make me giggle... such as this:

I'm pretty sure I opted out of this one last time I hired new employees!

What could possibly be better than Dr. Suess... with FLAIR!

After you finish laughing about the HO... i'll load a few more pics.  Earlier in my blog I had placed photos of my engagement ring and wedding dress (in my fictional/delusional life, i will eventually get married... just not in my real life)...  so I thought it only appropriate to continue planning my wedding and put just a few more ideas out in to the universe.  I would LOVE to see some of these scattered about the reception.  OR possibly as a replacement for a grooms cake, I mean truly, who needs all that cake. These are cheese cakes.  Yes, my friends actual cakes made from large blocks of cheese. (I love cheese). Some of them are accented and garnished with fruit.  I think they're beautiful:

So I'm one step closer to being done with the wedding plans... and one step closer to finding a willing accomplice? Who knows... all I know is that next weekend I have tenative plans to meet with a friend of mine and set up a profile on one of those internet dating sites.  She is totally cracking me up about it also.  Supposively we are inviting her friend Jose over to give us courage enough to do this because I am totally UNWILLING at the moment. I feel completely desperate even thinking about it. Although my sister has been bugging me to do it for quite some time.  Who knows? Maybe Mr. Right is out there looking for me too.  Funny though... once I was driving down Hwy 440 and actually saw a car license plates that said MR RIGHT. I cracked up and started driving faster... he got away... that's the story of my life, right?

  1. That is the happiest damn bug I've ever seen! The Dr Seuss stuff cracked me up. But I gotta say..I'm not feeling the cheese cakes. Unless of course its CHEESECAKE. And not a cake made of cheese. But I'm not a big fan of cheese really. This does however make me want to search "cookie wedding cakes." HMM HMM? I might get married one day, you never know. Sure it would probably be to a gay guy who can't please me in most ways but it would be a husband! Ehhh..

MR RIGHT is the best license plate name ever. I bet he gets so many girls. NOT! He probably weighs 490 and dresses in a santa costume every day and asks girls to slowly sit on his lap. You see where I'm going with this..

P.s. Part of me wonders if there isn't something missing from the bug pic. Like maybe the huge truck that runs over him shortly after this pic was taken. Poor bug. He was so happy up until that point. But that's life I guess! You're so happy..and then a truck runs you over.
